Running your own teahouse can be very rewarding and fun. Once you have decided to make one within the confines of your home or in a restaurant location, you simply have to take careful consideration on some things first before proceeding. The following of some features that you must take into account:

  • Space- this is obviously important as this will dictate how many individuals can be catered. Finding just a perfect spot, whether within your garden or in a former restaurant as long as the space is ample enough for a number of people to exchange pleasantries every afternoon.
  • Aura and general environment – this is a reflection of who the owner is. Although most prefer theirs to be relatively simple yet with a relaxing aura. You may find that some teahouse furnishing to be of an antique nature as well.
  • Relaxation and convenience – when making your own structure, it is best to constantly bear in mind that you are creating such structure because you want to have a place where you and your friends and customers can be at least temporarily relieved of daily stresses. This space then should be something where relaxation is made available readily. Addition of fans and blinds can also add up to the overall value of your structure.
  • Color and style – this is closely related with aura and environment. Colors to be placed inside should be something that is generally neutral in nature so that customers are not bombarded with a multitude of color.
  • Furnishings to be used – the furnishings need not really be expensive. What is more important is that it should be sturdy while at the same time brings out coziness of the area.
  • Dishware – a wide selection of fine china tea cups and accessories is sure to delight your customers.

Furnishing your teahouse is often quite an enjoyable experience as you look for old teacups and associated items that will add a unique charm to your tea room.
